About the Event
What does "impact-first" investing mean? It means thinking differently about capital; investing in a way that seeks high levels of social impact while preserving capital for investors. This kind of investing has an essential role to play in advancing sustainable solutions to poverty for millions of people worldwide.
Global Partnerships' impact-first fund investments are aimed at empowering low-income and marginalized people to earn a living, provide the basic necessities of life for their families, and improve their lives. Portfolio investments currently include coffee cooperatives connecting smallholder farmers with technical assistance and access to markets, microfinance institutions integrating credit, savings and health services for indigenous women, and solar light distributors for families living beyond the grid.
Melissa will share more about Global Partnerships' approach and results.
